Just About Married is New York’s premiere event management service specializing in Day-of Coordination. New York City is filled with capable couples who are able to get the nuts and bolts of their wedding day together without a ton of assistance, but that doesn’t mean that they should go it alone on their big day. Just About Married was designed to help couples execute the plans and details that you’ve spent so much money and time pulling together. No one wants to be the bride or groom-zilla running around ensuring that everything is how you had wanted it, or the stressed out couple frantically trying to dole out vendor payments and alphabetize escort cards. Think of us as wedding insurance, or better yet, peace of mind.

We pride ourselves on making Just About Married’s “Day-of” Coordination the most thorough in the city by staffing each wedding we service with a hand picked team of trained event managers. Our company was founded by Always a Bridesmaid, one of the city’s most prestigious design and planning firms, and Just About Married strives to keep the same level of warm professionalism with each of our clients.

Anna Leath
Client Services Director / Event Coordinator

Anna started event planning 12 years ago, coordinating restaurant openings, gallery events, fashion launches and movie premieres in NYC. She moved into the music business, working to coordinate artists and helping to arrange tour productions, concerts and special events such as The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction ceremony in New York. Her experience has provided her with thorough behind the scenes knowledge and the ability to bring a wide range of experience into all of her events. Anna started working with Just About Married after she and her husband experienced Just About Married services.

Rebecca Joyce
Event Coordinator

Rebecca began working in events for a worldwide Public Relations firm, planning and producing hospitality weekends, press events, concerts, mobile tours and more for clients such as Unilever Dove, Arm & Hammer, Starbucks, Adidas. Her logistical thinking, background in Judaic Studies and technical theater, and calm-under-pressure attitude make her an invaluable asset to the Just About Married team.

Elizabeth Leath
Event Coordinator

Elizabeth, a Brooklyn native and Manhattan resident, perfected her role as a professional bridesmaid the old fashion way… by being a bridesmaid. She has spend the last few years helping her closest friends and family get down the aisle in one piece…and is beginning to think she may have been the inspiration behind the movie “27 Dresses.” With her extensive experience as both an actual bridesmaid and a professional one, Elizabeth has acquired the knowledge and expertise to manage all aspects of wedding events.

Milana Azaryayeva
Event Coordinator

Milana began her career with events over 5 years ago. She worked on a large number of corporate and social events in the MD/DC/VA area before moving to NYC and joining the Just About Married team. Her first five minutes on the job, she was handed a credit card and a cranky puppy and told to get Mr. Bo to the kennel stat. She did, and the rest is history. Her organization, creativeness and attention to detail has helped send many happy brides down the aisle. She enjoys working with the brides-to-be and making their special day more enjoyable and stress free. Milana is fluent in conversational Russian.

Jennifer Swartzel
Event Coordinator

Jennifer is a Florida native who relocated to Brooklyn after getting her BS and MS in Special Education from Florida State University. Though only living in New York since 2003, Jennifer has actually been teaching High School for nearly 8 years. While wedding coordination is definitely a change of pace, if Jennifer can handle a gaggle of teenagers, she can surely keep a rambunctious wedding party in check. Her organizational skills, sense of calm and ability to think quickly on her feet make her a huge asset to the Just About Married team.

Sarah Westcott
Event Coordinator

Sarah is a Brooklyn resident who has been managing wedding celebrations in some shape or form since 2006. Clients adore her and so do vendors. Her calm and collected attitude puts everyone at ease. When she is not overseeing rental load-ins and managing overzealous guests, Sarah is the proprietor of Doggy Academy, a Brooklyn based dog training service focused on positive reinforcement.
